M'apologistics

I need to rethink this blog. I no longer do movie reviews, period. Most of the time they are just summaries of the plot. I rarely have anything to rave or complain strongly about, partly because I have so few hours to watch movies. Because of my time restrictions, when I do actually get around to watching a movie, I want an escape, something light and fluffy and generally casual, not an emotional rollercoaster or mindbendingly phenomenal film. My loss, I'm sure. The same thing, in a slightly lesser manner, affects my music listening/reviewing. I rarely have time to actually sit and listen to music for its own sake anymore. I'm always either a) on public transit b) at work or c) doing homework...which is now mostly requiring my ears attention since I'm usually mixing/editing music.

Added to this is the problem of my approach. I had decided, when commencing the reflective endeavor that is this blog, to only review albums I purchased a physical copy of. Most of the music - to my shame - that I have consumed in the last year has been acquired by other means. I often don't even get to listening to most of the music that I pick up any more. That's sad. As a result I have almost nothing to write about. So now, basically...I'd opening that up. My reviews will likely be less in depth, but that will - hopefully - be an improvement over the dearth of writing that has left the drain of this blog totally unstopped.

It is my great hope and intention (paving paving paving) to write a review of something of some sort every week.
Thanks to those of you who occasionally check in.
